Keyword Analysis

The Keyword Analysis tab (shown by default on any individual page analysis) shows ranking keywords and metrics for a specific page during the analysis reporting periods.

The report is split into 6 sub tabs:

• All keywords: a full list of all keywords found in both reporting periods (includes new and lost keywords)
• New keywords: keywords found in period 2, but not period 1
• Lost keywords: keywords found in period 1, but not period 2
• Improved keywords: keywords that improved in ranking between periods
• Declined keywords: keywords that declined in ranking between periods
• Keyword topics: groups similar keywords into topics

Sorting and Filtering Keywords

To filter the keyword list, click "Filters" beside the search bar.

You can filter the keyword list by position, intent, and also set a minimum number of impressions. Clicking on a table header will sort the table by that column.

In the example below the keyword list has been filtered to show only keywords ranking in positions 4-10 with a commercial or informational intent. The table has also been sorted by impressions (descending).

You can also use the search box to only show keywords which contain a specific phrase.
